Summer is on the horizon in the Dales
Summer is on the horizon in the DalesThis month is National Walking Month and we’re all being encouraged to pull on a pair of boots and head outdoors for a mind and body-boosting walk. The benefits of a brisk daily walk are well worth the effort and you’ll see parts of the country you’ll never see from your car. Here at Brymor we are very lucky to be located on the edge of the beautiful North Yorkshire Dales National Park, so there are plenty of walking routes for active visitors to try.
Of course, we know that not everyone who visits us is able to walk far or for long. Luckily there are some lovely views of the surrounding countryside and the Dales from the farm itself. We’ve also got ample indoor and outdoor seating areas for visitors to sit, chatter and (hopefully!) soak up some sunshine. For our visitors with children, we have a huge grassy play area with a very popular wooden climbing frame and rope bridge… perfect for getting some fresh air and burning off energy before a scoop or two of Brymor ice cream. Four-legged friends can use the secure dog exercise area for a leg stretch before enjoying a pot of Frozzy’s dog frozen yoghurt.
Of course, when all that activity is over hungry, weary people need a little refreshment and relaxation! Our parlour and cafe mean there’s something for everyone, from over 25 different flavours of ice cream and sorbet to milkshakes, drinks, light bites and lunches. There’s also a gift shop with locally sourced produce to take home. We hope all our visitors, no matter how young, old, active or canine they are, all have a wonderful time when they stop in to the Brymor dairy!
Not sure which flavour to go for? You’ll have to visit more than once while you’re in the area! Pick your favourites here.
